To some a place, a continent

To others a vacation, safari, or endless travels

To some it is home

To us it is…

A Gift.

 

 

The fever of Africa has risen in our home like an inferno

Two of my three girls have set foot on that soil of the sun.

They were unafraid, undeterred

and unwilling to let others suffer

 

 

They embraced the parched and barren earth and became filled with the abundant and full love of its people.

 

They discovered time without clocks

Communication without electronics

 

They experienced

Labor without pay and

Worship without restraint!!

 

.

You see the giving for the water began long ago.

 

Long before the first dollar was collected.

Before the first T shirt printed or plane ticket bought.

Before Dig Deep Give Well ever existed.

 

The giving was already there…waiting.

Waiting…

Africa waiting to unearth the treasures of her heart.

She is the gift from The Giver.

And she is waiting for you.

Lisa Brodie

After graduating from Harding University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, Lisa Brodie taught first grade until she and Curtis had their first child. Since that time, she has been living her dream as a stay at home mom while running a children’s resale event business called mom2mom. Along with home schooling, serving in student ministry and coordinating missions at Celebration Church in Fairhope, Alabama, Lisa serves as our current president and CEO. It was on a mission trip in 2007 that God birthed this idea in her to take water and “living water” all over the world.

Curtis Brodie is a physical education teacher at Fairhope Intermediate School and coaches basketball at Bayside Academy in Daphne. He graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a degree in physical education and youth ministry. Curtis has a heart for seeing students meet their fullest potential on the basketball court and in life. A hilarious motivational speaker, Curtis serves as our Vice president of Dig Deep Give Well.
